New Firefly book order is coming home in your child's folder.  Please return, if you wish to buy any books, by Friday, October 10.

 

A great book to read is Wocket In My Pocket by Dr. Seuss. Can find it at your local library.

 

Collecting!!!!  Please send in any empty dish detergent bottles with a flip top.  We would prefer the small or medium size but we will take all.  We are looking for containers to store paint so that we do not have to keep the gallon containers out.  I stumbled upon this idea as I was about to throw it away. We also love those empty paper towel holders.  We got a shipment 2 weeks ago and the children have depleated the supply.  Your children are very creative in the art department.  I love seeing what they do with things we would throw away.

Now that the weather is turning cool, you might want to switch the clothes that are in your child's spare clothes bag.   If you sent in shorts, you might want to replace with sweat pants and long sleeve shirt for a sleeveless or short shirt.  If clothes are sent home because of an accident, please remember to return them as soon as possible.

 

Please send in all Walk-a-thon money by the end of the week.  Thank you for your generosity.  We walked 6 times around the back circle.  As I told the children -- "You walked 6 mini miles". WOW!!!!!!
