Mr. D with his Dazzling Dance drops into our room.

 

Mr. D is a detective and he loves to search for shapes  -- circles, squares,  and triangles.

 

Mr. D feels it is important for everyone to help out at home and at school.

 

Mr. D loves to eat donuts. 

 

Remember --NEVER GIVE AWAY THE LETTER PERSON"S NAME BEFORE MONDAY.

 

Look for capital "D" in books, newpapers, cereal boxes, and anything that is around.  You might want to give your child a highlighter and a page from a magazine or paper and have him/her find and mark all capital or lower case "d's".

 

Don't forget to keep looking and identifying all the letters that we have met so far.  Take every opportunity you can to review recognizing the letters presented and the sound they make.
