Little Bear is happy to be going to Devon Kennedy's home this weekend. We hope all have a wonderful time and we look forward to hearing all about the visit on Monday when we get to read Little Bear's Journal. Have fun Kennedy family!
Little Bear has visited all the children now and will be starting his second visits once we return. He had such a wonderful time at everyone's house that he wants to come back and see everyone again.
As I write this, our Christmas program will be the following day. I have no doubt that you will love seeing the children retell the story of the night baby Jesus was born. Our bed for Baby Jesus is just about as soft as it can get. By the end of the day tomorrow, the last few pieces of straw should be in the bed. When we return Baby Jesus will be in the manger.
In January when the children check in, we will be using cards that have the children's last name as well as their first initial. This will help the children to identify last names. From this we will move on to initials. All in due time and in developmental sequence.
Have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy all the family time. Remember to take time to play and have fun with your children.
