Monday December 7th, 2009 We will continue to use our Advent booklets to ready ourselves for Christmas. I hope the children are working on their Christmas Aroung the World reports. Our first group will be on Monday, December 14th. Tuesday, December 8th is the feast of the Immaculate Conception. We DO have school that day. We will attend Mass on this holy day at the Motherhouse chapel at 1:45 p.m. Trimester reports will come home with the students on Thursday. Miss Marilyn's last official day as a student teacher will be this Friday. We will have a little going away party for her at last period on Friday. If your child would like to make her a card etc. thanking her for her work with the students, that would be great. One last reminder: The Secret Santa Shop will be open on Monday, December 14th so the children can buy gifts to give on Christmas. Please check the Calendar for other happenings during this Advent season. I remind you to bring to school the supplies you are suppose to purchase outside of school: 1 dozen #2 pencils 1 large glue stick 2 red pens 1 12" ruler 1 6" ruler 1 16 pack of crayons 1 8 pack of markers 1 pink eraser 1 pair of scissors (Fiskar brand are the best) Please have these on the first day of school. I have the rest of your supplies: copybooks, folders, homework assignment book, theme tablets, and pencil case. I also have calculators for those of you who need them. We will work on organizing our desks and materials those first few days.
