TAKE A LOOK AT HIS/HER VENN DIAGRAM FOR THE FAIRY TALE UNIT WE COMPLETED IN
CLASS.
I remind you that this is the week of taking pictures. Class photos will be
taken on Tuesday, November 10th. Children must be in uniform for this
picture. On Wednesday, November 11th, individual pictures will be taken.
The children may dress as you wish for this picture. Please send in the
picture envelope by Tuesday for these individual pictures. They must all
have the envelope marked even if you are NOT getting pictures. I now have
five envelopes returned. I just need nine more. Thank you.
Our star student this week will be Payton.
On Thursday, we are having a school celebration of our Blue Ribbon at 10:00
in the gym.
We will be having a Math test on Unit 3 on Friday of this week.
We will be starting multiplication/division in Unit 4. For Science we are
moving along in our unit on Electricity. There will be a few visits to the
Science lab for this unit. We will be assemblying simple circuits, Series
circuits, and parallel circuits.
I remind you to bring to school the supplies you are suppose to purchase
outside of school:
1 dozen #2 pencils
1 large glue stick
2 red pens
1 12" ruler
1 6" ruler
1 16 pack of crayons
1 8 pack of markers
1 pink eraser
1 pair of scissors (Fiskar brand are the best)
Please have these on the first day of school. I have the rest of your
supplies: copybooks, folders, homework assignment book, theme tablets, and
pencil case. I also have calculators for those of you who need them. We
will work on organizing our desks and materials those first few days.
