Spanish in the 2nd and 3rd grade is an introductory level Spanish course which allows students to begin to develop their skills in the Spanish alphabet, Spanish pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and conversation. In the 8th grade students read, write, listen and speak in basic Spanish and are introduced to various types of literature, customs, and cultural practices from different Spanish-speaking areas of the world.
Through the study of the culture, geography, civilization and literature of Spain and Latin America, students have available to them another perception of the world which enlarges the total vision.
