WEEK IN REVIEW

Early Childhood Class
May 14th - May 18th

Dear Parents
This week was a lot fun.  We studied the letters U, V and W. We also spotted the letters that we highlighted this week. During circle time, we continued to sing, dance and engage in dramatic play. Additionally, we reviewed math concepts such as number recognition, order and patters. As a class, we are always eager to talk about the weather conditions as it relates to outdoor recess. We also began out study of Hawaii and discovered that it has several islands. This week we will expand our
knowledge by learning several important facts about Hawaii.

At the end of the week we had Jeremy's Cowboy / Cowgirl Tigerfest party. It was a blast for the students. We sang songs, line danced and played pin the horseshoe to the hat. Each of us had an opportunity to design a cowboy/cowgirl hat. For lunch we had hotdogs, chips, drink and cupcakes.
