About the Counselors

Mrs. Renee Kleaveland grades 9-12 A-L

Renee Kleaveland, a native Californian, has lived in the Lehigh Valley since 1990. She earned a B.A.in English from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, home of the Wolverines. She also has an A.A.in exhibit design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. She received her Masters Degree in Education from Lehigh University, with certification in Secondary School Counseling. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, working out, knitting, and travelling. This year marks Mrs Kleaveland's 19th year as a School Counselor at Wilson.

Mrs. Linda Jo David, CHE Students

Linda Jo David earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice at East Stroudsburg University, a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Marywood and later returned to Marywood to receive a Secondary School Guidance Certification. She has worked in mental health clinics, provided family, individual, crisis, and group counseling in a number of mental health and educational settings and has provided assessment's at a children's hospital. Mrs. David also taught at Northampton Community College prior to working at Wilson Area High School.

Mrs. Meghann Moyer, grades 9-12, M-Z

Meghann Moyer was an honors graduate of Wilson Area High School, then received her B.A.in Psychology from Albright College in Reading, PA. She attended Lehigh University for her Masters in Education, with certification in Secondary School Counseling. Mrs.Moyer has 3 young daughters and in her spare time enjoys running, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family. This is Mrs.Moyer's 11th year as a School Counselor.

Mrs. Virginia Altemose

Counseling Office Secretary
Mrs. Altemose has over 20 years of office experience. She was a Wilson Area High School honors graduate. She has three children and two step-children and enjoys spending time with family, drawing, and reading.

Mrs. Ruth McIlroy

Counseling Office Volunteer
Mrs. McIlroy is an Easton Area High School Graduate. Most of her working years were spent in the Easton Hospital Medical Records Department. She has three children, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She now enjoys reading, and helping with church activities. She is an active member of the Eastern Star.
