About The Teacher
Welcome to second grade! This is my eleventh year teaching in the Wilson School District. I graduated from Moravian College in 2000 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a certification in Elementary Education. I again graduated from Moravian College in 2005 with my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am proud to announce that I am the WBES PTA President. I work closely with parents to bring fun and exciting things to our students. I am very lucky to have a wonderful and supportive family that consists of my parents two big sisters, a big brother, and a little sister. I am also blessed to be an aunt to three nieces and three nephews. In addition to teaching and being an aunt, I also enjoy reading, shopping, movies, and spending time with my friends. I collect monkeys, all kinds. Ready Freddy books are my favorite to share with my class.

I hope to instill a love of learning that will last a lifetime as the students grow as independent learners. I encourage responsiblility and respectful behavior everyday as we work together in a safe and happy classroom.
