I am a Special Education teacher at Wissahickon High School for students in
9th-12th grade. I graduated from Elizabethtown College with a B.S. in
Psychology and received my Special Education Certification and M Ed in
Special Education through Penn State. This summer I completed an online
Children's Literature Certification Program, also through Penn State. I have
previously worked at the Woods School and the Silver Springs-Martin Luther
School. This year I will be teaching English (Direct and Inclusion) and Study
Skills. I co-sponsor the STARS Tutoring program with Ms. Ginny Atlee and am
a softball instructor at the Ambler Sports Academy. For
the second summer in a row I spent time in River Ridge, Louisiana, helping
Katrina victims. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my dog, Jack,
watching Kansas City Chiefs/Penn State football, Phillies baseball, or
Tennessee Lady Vols basketball teams, playing guitar, working out,
listening to music (especially Johnny Cash), and reading.
