Volunteering In the Library
Volunteer help in the library is greatly appreciated. Tasks that can be done
are assisting with the circulation of books, occasional typing, shelving
returned books, and assisting the students in locating materials. Knowledge
of alphabetical and numerical order and basic computer skills are the only
job requirements. We do ask that no young children accompany the parent
since young siblings may be distracting to the learning process. Please make
sure that you have signed up with the PTO on the volunteer forms. You will
have to participate in an orientation session for school volunteers with our
principal and receive basic training in our library procedures, the location
of books, and the computerized circulation system. If you missed the PTO
volunteer sign-up, please contact the librarian or Mrs. Amy Roberts, our
volunteer coordinator.
