Wycallis Elementary School

Ready for A Great Year!

Principal Photo
August 31, 2016 begins the 18th year for the Wycallis Elementary School – and it will be another terrific year! The members of the Dallas School District custodial and maintenance teams have done their usual awesome job preparing the building and every square inch is clean and ready to go.

Our teachers have been preparing for new academic programs to be implemented this year, and are very excited to get started.

As Wycallis Elementary Principal, I am looking forward to continuing our exciting educational journey with the students and staff who compose the Wycallis Family. Our teachers, staff, and I remain committed to the safety and success of each and every child who is part the Wycallis Elementary School Community. If at any time, you have questions or concerns, please contact me at bbradshaw@dallassd.com or 570-674-7283.

Here's to a great year!

New Attendance Procedures

Consistent school attendance is a crucial determining factor in student success. As such, Wycallis Elementary School is committed to students being to class on-time on a consistent basis. Beginning January 19th, Wycallis Elementary School will utilize the automated One Call Now system to place a call to absent students’ households on a daily basis. The calls will begin at approximately 10:30 AM. These calls are intended to improve communication between the school and families to both reduce truancy and to assist students upon their return to school. If there is a concern or what you believe to be an errant call, please contact the Wycallis main office at (570) 674 – 7283. In addition, please refer to the Wycallis website under Important Documents for the excuse forms needed upon your students return, and under the Parent Student Guidebook for the school’s absence policy. If you have any questions regarding this new procedure, or wish to opt out of the One Call Now system, please contact Principal Brian Bradshaw directly. Thank you.
