About The Teacher
This will be my tenth year teaching kindergarten at Wycallis. I am a graduate of Wyoming Seminary and Wilkes University. My majors in college were Elementary Education and Psychology. I hold a Pennsylvania State teaching certificate in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I live on a farm with my husband Dan(an eighth grade Science teacher at the Dallas Middle School), two children (Daniel and Ellie), two dogs (Cassie and Bethany), two horses (Chloe, and Buddy),and a pony (Thor). Outside of school I enjoy riding my horses, camping, and spending time with my family.

Mission
I want to instill a love for school and learning. Students need to know and feel that learning is very important and can be very fun. They need to do this in a positive working environment where they feel comfortable and safe. By providing challenging, fun, age-appropriate activites, students will have the opportunity to experience success, be motivated to want to learn more, and most importantly have fun in the process!
