Mrs. Bullions has been teaching Social Studies and English at Wyoming Area
for sixteen years.
Our mission is to gain knowledge and insights, both personal and of the
world
we share. To accomplish this, we must read and understand information. We
must organize and evaluate ideas. Finally, we must be able to communicate
clearly in our speech and writing. Whenever possible, in Psych and Soc, we
will relate the lessons in class to the real world through discussion,
reading news articles, and viewing videos. Psych and Soc are geared to the
college bound student, and teaching methods are adjusted to prepare them for
the college classroom.
AP classes are equivalent to college classes and the amount of material that
we will cover is double that usually taught in the traditional or honors
classes. A great deal of independent work is required.
