This Fall 2009 golf season has been my 35th. year as a varsity golf
coach. The high school golf season starts the second monday in August and
runs thru the last week of October. There will be a meeting during the last
week of May 2010 for any prospective golf candidates for next years team, at
which time I give out the summer playing schedule for the AGA junior tour
tournament schedule. Entry into these tournaments are free and on a
voluntary basis for the golfer. I make no cuts on the high school golf
team. My coaching philosophy has always been that since golf is a lifetime
sport, one has a lifetime to improve. All are welcome to come out and join
the golf team, however only the best 8 players travel with the team to the
golf matches but all members practice and participate on the Warrior team
regardless of playing ability.
