Homework that is 1-2 days late will be graded as 70%.

Homework that is 3 or more days late will be graded as 50%.

Any homework not turned in becomes a zero.

Students who have an excused absence due to illness will have two days to
make up a missed homework assignment (without penalty) for every one day
absent.

 Notebook/Supplies

Students are required to bring their book, notebook and journal book to
class everyday. Basic supplies such as paper, pencil, pen, and highlighter
should be with the student daily.

Classroom Rules and Procedures

Classroom Rules

All students are expected to:

Be caring—no put downs; use listening skills

Be responsible—bring supplies to class each day, including agenda book; be
on
time; be prepared

Use best effort

Tardy Policy

A student is tardy if he/she is not in his/her assigned seat and ready to
work with his/her class required supplies, including agenda book, when the
teacher begins class. After the class begins, if a student needs to leave
the
classroom for any unexcused reason (such as going back to a locker for
forgotten materials) it will be counted as a tardy.

Procedure for Entering Classroom

Make sure you have all necessary supplies:

Enter room quietly.

Sharpen your pencil(s) before class begins.

Write the agenda down in your planner.

Procedure for Exiting Classroom

Copy homework assignment.

Clean up work area.

Pick up all of your belongings.

Exit room in an orderly fashion.
