HOMEWORK POLICY
Homework will be given Monday through Thursday averaging about 40 min. per
night. Occaisonally homework will be given over the weekend when necessary.
Homework is assigned to review skills and strategies taught. Homework is an
important part of the student's grades and especially their education. The
students have a planner which all of their assignments can be written down
in. Every student also has a homework folder which they are to take to and
from school every day.
If a student does not complete homework, they will receive a homework slip.
The homework slip must be signed by the parent and returned to the teacher.
If a student receives 3 homework slips, they will be required to stay for
after school detention. If homework becomes a continuous problem, the
parents may be asked to come into school for a meeting to discuss this issue.
