Tessellation Project: "PreView" To Be Assigned

Objective: Create a tessellation using at least three REGULAR polygons.
Requirements:
1. Tessellation must cover a minimum of 8 ” X 11” piece of white paper.
2. Tessellation should be mounted onto a colored sheet to “frame” the
tessellation.
3. Tessellation should be colored to emphasize the repeating pattern.
4. Polygons must be drawn with a straightedge.
5. A minimum of 3 REGULAR Polygons must be used to create the
tessellation.
6. A rubric and worksheet must be turned in with your tessellation.
7. NO COMPUTER GENERATED tessellations will be accepted.
8. Individual project, no partner or group work.
9. Identify three uses of tessellations.
10. Provide at least one internet site that you accessed to research
tessellations.
