All tests and quizzes are announced at least a week in advance. It will be
posted on the homework board in my room. Students are encouraged to write
all assignments and tests in their planners. Feel free to keep lines of
communication open. I look forward to a rewarding and successful school year.
MARCH 2ND is "READ ACROSS AMERICA"
"You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a
book and read with a child."
“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer
yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you
know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go...”
― Dr. Seuss, Oh, the Places You'll Go!
“Catch! calls the Once-ler.
He lets something fall.
It's a Truffula Seed.
It's the last one of all!
You're in charge of the last of the Truffula Seeds.
And Truffula Trees are what everyone needs.
Plant a new Truffula. Treat it with care.
Give it clean water. And feed it fresh air.
Grow a forest. Protect it from axes that hack.
Then the Lorax
and all of his friends
may come back.”
― Dr. Seuss, The Lorax
