Homework is posted in my room on the homework board. The book report for marking period 3 is due March 6th. It should be a nonfiction book. Books should have been approved. Read Across America Day in United States Many people in the United States, particularly students, parents and teachers, join forces on Read Across America Day, annually held on March 2. This nationwide observance coincides with the birthday of Dr Seuss, who is known for writing children’s books. “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.” ― Dr. Seuss, I Can Read With My Eyes Shut! “Look at me! Look at me! Look at me NOW! It is fun to have fun But you have to know how.” ― Dr. Seuss, The Cat in the Hat (Deluxe Edition) “It has often been said there’s so much to be read, you never can cram all those words in your head. So the writer who breeds more words than he needs is making a chore for the reader who reads. That's why my belief is the briefer the brief is, the greater the sigh of the reader's relief is. And that's why your books have such power and strength. You publish with shorth! (Shorth is better than length.)” ― Dr. Seuss
