Is there homework every night?

If there is not a written assignment, the students should be studying for 
upcoming tests (ex. spelling, social studies, science, math) or READING!

How will I know what my child's homework is?

All assignments are written on the board and in your child's planner.  
Please 
check this planner each night so you know what assignments were given.

Do I need to sign tests/quizzes?

All tests , with the exception of spelling, should be signed and returned 
the 
next school day.  Spelling tests only need to be signed when they are below 
an 80%.

Is my child allowed to bring their textbooks home?

Yes!  They may bring their textbooks home whenever they would like.  They 
should also bring their study sheets home for science and social studies in 
order to prepare for tests.

Will the students receive book orders?

Yes.  I use the Scholastic book order each month.  Please do not send cash!  
Checks or money orders should be made payable to Scholastic Book Company.

May I send in treats for my child's birthday?

Yes.  Due to food allergies, please do not send any treats which contain 
nuts 
or nut products.
