Wyoming Area Kindergarten will follow the State Standards for
learning. The Reading Program will consist of reading, phonemic awareness,
phonics, writing, and language arts. The Math Program will consist of number
recognition, counting, measurement, patterning, and an introduction to
addition, subtraction, time, and money. Science and Social Studies will be
integrated into the Reading Program. Related Arts will consist of music,
art, library, gym, and health. Technology is an integral part of the
curriculum. Computers will be used in the classroom: practice using the
keyboard with your child.
