As many of you may, or may not, know we have a student teacher that has
joined us for the next 8 weeks. Miss Maribeth Brozena comes to us from
Bloomsburg University and is pursuing her master's degree. She is currently
our field hockey coach and has had an incredible season. Any questions that
you may have for her, or myself, please call us at the school.
Please have your son/daughter come into school with a large (grocery size)
brown paper bag on Thursday, November 12. (You can ask for them at Gerrity's,
Price Chopper or Sunshine-while it is still open.) For our state project we
will be doing a "research rug" using these bags.
At Home Reading Logs-- What I ask is that your son/daughter read Monday
through Friday for at least 15 minutes. (Of course they may read longer.)
They need to read to an adult and that adult needs to sign their paper each
day that they heard them read.
Every Monday I will be collecting their reading that they have
completed from the previous week--i.e. Tommy read Oct. 1 through Oct. 5 for
15 minutes each night and his mom signed each day. On Tuesday, October 9 I
collected Oct. 1-5 from him. I put a sticker on his chart that he read each
day and he got a sticker for doing the project. (This IS NOT a
requirement.) If he finishes every Monday through Friday for the month he
will be able to pick out of the "Red Bag".
