How do homework slips work?
Students will recieve a homework slip each time they forget a homework
assignment. Each homework slip will result in 5 points being deducted from
their homework grade. If your child recieves three slips in a quarter, they
will be assigned after school detention.
What's up with the book report?
Your child is responsible for 4 book reports throughout the school year. This
will include a summary and a project.
All of the necessary information needed to successfully complete these
reports, is included in the book report packet your child was given on the
second day of school. This packet clearly outlines the books they need to
read, the projects they need to complete and the dates each of these are due.
What are Paperback Plus Assignments?
Along with their daily work, book reports, and other projects, your child
will be reading additional books in the classroom. When they complete the
readings, they are to complete a work packet relating to the book they read.
This packet is used as a test grade in reading.
