Voicemail will be answered between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. or immediately after 
school.

How can my child bring up their science grade?

Students need to read over their notes at home at least for 10 minutes each 
night.  They finish their written work during study hall, but they need to 
actually study at home.

How do I know when my child will have a test or homework?

Check the homework hotline.  Every Monday it will be updated for the week. 
655-2836 ext. 2225.  Check this website under homework or announcements.

Where can I find my child's grades?

Every time a graded assignment is passed back it is placed into their in-
class folders.  They record their grades either on the front page or the 
last page in their notebooks.  At naytime you can just ask to see their 
notebooks and find their grades.

What average does my child need to obtain to stay in advanced science?

Advanced science students must have an overall B average for the year in 
order to stay in advanced science for 8th grade or be placed back into 
general science.

What is the notebook grade?

All marking periods except 4th marking period, each student will be graded 
on class notes and an organized worksheet folder.  All worksheets must be 
numbered in order with their initials on the top of each worksheet.

How is the extra credit counted?

The extra credit points are added to the lowest test score NOT to the final 
average.
