My orignal degree was a B.A. in Art from College Misericordia. I
taught Art for nine years in Wyoming Area and I enjoyed sharing my love of
the Fine Arts with students from kindergarten to eight grade. During this
time I worked on a Masters in Fine Arts from Scranton U. and Marywood
University. I also studied Art History in Europe.
For six years,I was home with my two daughters, and taught Art
Appreciation part time at College Misericordia.
In 1992 I received an Elementary Certificate from Wilkes University and
have taught First, Second, Third, and currentlly Fifth Grade at Montgomery
Avenue.I have enjoyed all the grades but I really enjoy 5th grade. To help
my students further I have also done graduate work in Reading at King's. As
you can see my background is varied and hopefully I can share my experience
with my students.
All children can learn...but not always the same way. My Mission as
a teacher is to help each and everyone of my students to reach their full
potential, and to enjoy the process as they achieve their goals. I truely
love Reading and wish to share this whenever possible with my class.
Hopefully, by sharing this love and encouraging it, my students will become
stronger learners!
