I received a BS in Elementary Education from Misericordia University with a
minor in Social Studies and a certification in Library Science. I obtained an
MS in Elementary Education from Wilkes University. I have also taken over 60
credits in education courses beyond my Masters degree in order to stay
current on new educational techniques.
I have spent my career teaching at Wyoming Area. I have taught K,3,4,5 as a
classroom teacher. I also was the district elementary librarian for all
grades K-6 and taught computer skills to second and fourth grades.
I am married and have five children, two of which have also become teachers.
I have five grandchildren and have six cats.
Learning involves more than book knowledge. My goal is for all of the
children to achieve to their highest potential.
They need to learn cooperation, teamwork and mainly respect for themselves
and each other.
I want them to:
look forward to coming to school each day.
feel safe and secure in our classroom.
think of our classroom as their other home and their classmates as
their other family.
learn to live together and appreciate each other.
think on their feet and adapt to new situations.
have their best year ever!!
