Remember to complete your "five for five" journals on school nights. I've
been very impressed reading the student journals every morning. It is
wonderful to see that our fifth graders are reading each day and enjoying the
books. Keep up the good work!
CARE FOR THE COLD An idea from our fifth grade girls is catching wind! We are
in the process of collecting coats for the Headstart Organization. the
deadline is December 21st. The coats can be adult or child in good condition.
We are in special need of childrens coats! I'm so proud of our fifth graders
willing to give to others during the holiday season. What an important
reminder for all of us as the deep winter chill sets in. Giving does give us
a sense of warmth and fellowship for others.
