Rock and Roll! We will be studying earth science for our first two chapters 
in fifth grade. We will study the processes that change the earth's surface, 
the layers of the earth, and rocks and minerals. We will even write a rock 
monologue and test rocks and minerals!

Both fifth grade classes had a fun time learning about volcanoes last week in 
science. We even had the opportunity to create and erupt cinder cone volcano 
models! Pictures of this great learning experience will be on line very soon.
