COLLEGE APPLICATION DEADLINE - DECEMBER 10, 2008
If you want your college application submitted before Christmas Break, you
MUST have ALL of your application materials turned in to Mrs. Rabel NO LATER
THAN DECEMBER 10, 2008!
*If you turn in your college application materials after December 10, your
application will not be mailed out until January.
*If you are missing any application items, your application will not be
mailed out until January.
Please make sure to take care of this important step of your future TODAY!
COLLEGE APPLICATION STEPS TO COMPLETE
1) Let Mrs. Rabel know where you are applying.
2) If you applied on-line, tell Mrs. Rabel and complete an On-Line
Application form (also on the website under Department Forms - "College
Application Tracking Form").
3) If you completed a paper application, bring it to Mrs. Rabel.
4) Provide Mrs. Rabel with an up-to-date activities resume.
5) Provide Mrs. Rabel with your letters of recommendations (teachers are
very busy, so if you haven't asked for recommendations yet, do it now!)
6) If there is a counselor section to your on-line college application,
print that page and bring it to Mrs. Rabel.
7) Sign a transcript release form in the Guidance Office.
8) Take the SAT or ACT if you haven't yet.
9) Read the college application carefully to make sure you have completed
all requirements for the application processs.
10) Sign up for your FAFSA PIN in December. Learn more about what a PIN is
and why you need one at the Financial Aid Night or at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
