FAFSA4caster is a free online tool to provide students with early estimates of
their eligibility for federal student aid. FAFSA4caster is for anyone not
ready to file an official FAFSA, which the student must fill out to receive
federal student aid.

At the PIN site the PIN applicant (PARENT & STUDENT) provides their name
social security number and date of birth and they can receive the required PIN
to complete the FAFSA online. Applicants should apply for their PIN in
November or December of the student's senior year.
