I graduated from Wilkes University with a BA in English, and I earned my
Master's in Educational Development and Strategies in May of 2008.
I have been teaching at Wyoming Area for several years. I love my job, and I
hope that my students enjoy coming to school as much as I do.
I married my high school sweetheart, Charles, and we have a wonderful son
also named Charles!
I also contributed an essay to a book entitled Gifts Volume 2, where I hope
to raise awareness about Down syndrome, a genetic condition that my son was
born with.
On my spare time, I love to write, sing, read, and spend time with my
family. I am also involved in the Luzerne County Down Syndrome Network.
Our goal in English class is to master the reading,
writing, speaking, and listening standards. We will do our best to score
proficient, if not advanced, on the PSSA. We will strive to appreciate
reading and fine Literature.
Our goal in Writing and Communication is to work to master the
writing, speaking, and listening standards. We will do our best to score
proficient, if not advanced, on the PSSA's. We will learn to love writing,
and we will always be aware of focus, content, organization, style, and
conventions.
