I have been a special education teacher for 33 years. My employment began
with LIU #18 as a Jr./Sr. High Special Education Teacher located in the
Lake-Lehman School District. I then transferred to the Wyoming Area School
District as an Elementary Special Education teacher. I have taught all grades
Kdg. to 12th, but my heart and passion is with the younger children.
I firmly believe all students can learn, but I also know that this learning
occurs at different rates and with different teaching modalities necessary.
I find that it is necessary to wear many hats and to be available at all
times. I will do everything within my power to help each of my students feel
good about themselves and to experience academic growth.
