Starting first grade is a fun and exciting time. It can also be a
very scary time for both parents and students. I am sure you have a lot of
questions. Hopefully, some of the following articles and charts will help
give you some insight into what first grade is all about!
Behavior Expectations!
We will be using a behavior chart in our classroom. Refer to the
picture below. It is the type of chart we will be using this year in our
classroom. All of the children will start the day with their own bee on the
green section of the hive for good behavior. If problems arise, your child's
bee will be moved up the hive. If your child ends the day with his/her bee
on the red section of the beehive, you will find information on the behavior
chart in your child's f.is.h. binder. Serious or continual problems will
require a phone call home!
