Birthdays are so important to children! We love to celebrate them in our classroom! If your child is having a birthday and you would like to send in a treat, you are more than welcome to do so! Please send in napkins with your treat!
The only thing that I ask is that you let me know in advance that you will be sending in a birthday treat. That way I can let you know about any food allergies and plan to rearrange our schedule for that day accordingly.
We have 27 children in our classroom this year. Please be sure to send in enough treats for the whole class.
Does your child have a summer birthday? We will be celebrating summer birthdays the last week of school.
***Parents often ask me if they are allowed to send in party invitations for their child's birthday party outside of school. This is absolutely fine; however, there is one rule. I can only pass out the invitations if all the children in the class are invited. Another option might be to invite all the boys or just all the girls. I cannot; however, pass out invitations to some of the boys while other boys are left without invitations. Please understand that I have to take ALL the children's feelings into account. You are putting me in a very uncomfortable situation. You will have to find another way to pass such invitations out! Thanks for your understanding.***
