MONDAY NOVEMBER 23, 2009 3 Review of chapters 6-10 QUIZ tomorrow Silent reading and journaling 2 Vocabulary due – QUIZ tomorrow Silent reading tomorrow 1 Vocabulary due – QUIZ tomorrow Silent reading tomorrow 6 Silent reading and journaling Essay rough draft is due Wednesday 12/2 for peer editing Don’t forget: Essays should be typed, double spaced, MLA format heading and page numbers. They should contain 5 paragraphs (intro, body, conclusion). Each body paragraph should have details from “The Lottery” and “The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas”. Each body paragraph should contain two quotations (one from each story), a total of 6 quotations for the whole paper. Do not write in first person. Be sure to introduce quotations and put page number between parenthesis after quote.
