Mrs. Kristen Falso-Capaldi came to Cranston HS West in the fall of 2002.
She teaches English because she loves to read, write and talk, talk, talk.
Before becoming a teacher, she worked for almost a decade as a writer for TV
stations in Providence and Boston. She holds a Masters Degree in Teaching
from Rhode Island College and a Bachelor of Arts in English and
Communication Studies from URI. In addition to her teaching duties at
Cranston West, Mrs. Capaldi has also taught writing and literature at Gibbs
College and Rhode Island College's Upward Bound Program. In her spare time,
Mrs. Capaldi records and performs music with her husband, cooks, practices
yoga, plays with her cat, Scout, writes and of course, corrects student
papers.
