Hi!
My name is Mrs. Vass.
I am working hard to create a wonderful classroom for you. I am looking
forward to having an exciting and fun year!
I have been a teacher at Northern for 9 years. This year will be my 10th
year.
My family consists of myself and my husband (Ken), my 2 sons (Taylor and
Connor), and 2 dogs (Casey and Finley). Taylor is in 10th grade at Lincoln
High School. Connor is in 7th grade at Lincoln Middle School.
Casey and Finley are Golden Retrievers. Casey loves to be outside but
Finley prefers to be inside. Finley loves to have a ball or frisbee thrown
for him to fetch. Casey likes to play with Finley or Ziggy (neighbor dog).
I enjoy reading, playing with my dogs and children, and scrapbooking.
Taylor is teaching me to waveboard. So far, I can go down the driveway
without falling off. He makes it look so easy!
I tried surfing this summer. I didn't do so great but I had a great time
trying. I saw dolphins swimming out a little bit past me in the water. Very
cool!
