I grew up in Greenville, SC, and attended college at The University of the
South in Sewanee, Tennessee. In 2000, I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching
in Early Childhood Education from USC. During my first five years of
teaching at Blythe Academy in Greenville, I taught kindergarten and second
grade. In 2005, I moved to Alexandria, VA, where I taught second grade at
Kings Park Elementary in Fairfax County. After getting married in 2006, my
husband, David, and I moved back to Greenville, where I was a second grade
teacher at Simpsonville Elementary. Now I'm finally "at home" at Augusta
Circle. This is my second year at ACE and my ninth year of teaching. I am
excited about getting to know each of my new students and diving into the
great year ahead of us!
