Classroom Rules

Classroom Rules

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Now that we are all settled down and ready to go, we are beginning to talk about classroom behavioral expectations. We want to make these guidelines clear to you and your child so that we can easily enforce them. These guidelines will make our environment pleasant as well as making our activities run smoothly. We can accomplish so much more if we all accept the following expectations and consequence. The rules are simple, but they cover a lot of ground and children can read them when they are posted. The consequences include moving your name on a clothespin from the happy green bear to the different colored bears based on the number of rules you are breaking. Please sign and return the bottom of this page after you have read it with your child.

RULES:

Use listening ears.

Use nice voices.

Use friendly hands.

Use walking feet.

Use loving hearts.

CONSEQUENCES:

Green bear: great day.

Yellow bear: warning.

Orange bear: 5 minutes of play.

Blue bear: 10 minutes and a blue note.

Red bear: trip to the office.

Thank you for your help,

Martha Drake
