Mrs. Brown - I have been teaching at Edgewood for 21 years. I am married
and have two children. I have lived in the Ninety Six community since I was
7 years old. I enjoy teaching in my hometown. I am proud to be a part of
the educational community of Ninety six.
Mrs. Price - I have been teaching for 21 years in public school. I have
been at Edgewood for 18. I was raised in the Ninety Six community and am
proud to say I went through this school system as a student.
The Purpose of the 8th Grade ELA classroom is to provide a strong curriculum
in the areas of reading and writing. The overall goal is to develop
students who are strong and independent lifelong learners in these areas.
However, the immediate goal is to prepare them for PACT and high
school. We have high expectations and will work to help students reach
their potentials.
