Final Presentation
After reflecting on all of the artwork you have created this semester, bring in the piece you are most proud of to present to your class. You may use a notecard.

Your presentation must include the following:
1. What you are presenting and why
-What SPECIFICALLY makes the piece successful?
-Include vocabulary terms from year
*Hint-review Mrs. Davis’ comments on your rubric!

2. What self-discoveries have you made concerning art making this year?
-Share your personal revelations
-Possible topics to talk about include patience, confidence, working with mistakes, accepting criticism, finding inspiration, reflection
-How have you used art? Examples: Outlet for emotions, stress-relief, way to represent your interests/personality/attitudes/opinions, to tell a story

3. What skill have you improved the most this year?
-What technical skills/abilities have you gained or improved upon?
-Drawing: Creating value changes with shading, finding correct proportions
-Painting: Mixing colors, blending, control of application, using texture
-Arranging a composition: Creating emphasis, contrast, movement, balance
