**If you do not understand something that we are going over in class you can always come see me during your lunch period.  You can eat your lunch in my classroom while we are going over problem areas.  It is up to you to make the effort to get help. 

Homework will be checked every single day.  I will not be grading for accuracy, but all problems must be attempted and ALL WORK MUST BE SHOWN to receive credit.  If you only have a portion of your homework done you will not receive credit.  Everyone began the year with a 100 homework average.  Any time a student does not bring their homework to class they will have 5 points deducted from their grade.  At the end of the nine weeks the homework average will be counted as one major test grade.  Repetition and working problems on your own is the key to understanding math.  Their is no excuse for a student to not have a 100 homework grade at the end of the nine weeks.  Excuses will not be tolerated and you must have your work with you when you come to class to receive credit.  Homework procedures were stated in the parent/student contract given on the first day of school that was signed by all parents and students.
