Spanish students are required to bring a pencil or a pen to all classes.
They must bring their textbook and workbook everyday. My classroom is far
from their lockers, and too much time is lost if the student leaves to go to
the locker for the text. I prefer that tests and quizzes be taken in
pencil. The required folder is needed for vocabulary. Students may not
keep other notes or papers in this folder. I will take it up after each
vocabulary lesson.
