Internet Safety
In this day and age, you
must use caution and wisdom when using the internet. Though a valuable tool,
it has been abused and used for evil purposes. My intention is for you to go
on this website with your child. Your child should never be allowed to go on
the internet without your permission or supervision. Your child should not be
left alone in a secluded room to just "surf" the web. If you are going to see
the spelling words for the week, go to the website, retrieve the spelling
words, and leave. It is imperative that you have a purpose when going to the
website. There may be times when you will leave this website, for instance,
when using the links page. This page contains links to other websites that
enhance the subject we are studying at the time. They are helpful, but yet
again, when finished playing the game or reading the information, there is no
reason to have your child wander to other sites. This is stated to ensure your
child's safety and keeping his/her heart and mind guarded. As it says in
Proverbs 4:23 "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues
of life."
