Fundamental Orders of Fourth Grade
I _________________________ hereby covenant on __________ to do my best to
follow the rules that have been set for the class.
I understand that there are consequences for breaking these rules, and I
understand that I will have to pay the consequences if I break these rules.
I understand that my name will be placed on the DISCIPLINE BOARD in the
event that I break a rule.
If I put my name on the DISCIPLINE BOARD, I must serve 5 minutes on the
fence during recess for each check after my first warning.
If I receive more than three checks by my name, I must fill out a
behavior/reflection form that must be signed and returned the following day.

CLASSROOM RULES AND EXPECTATIONS
Rule:
1. OBEY SCHOOL RULES: I will obey the rules set by the school handbook
2. SPEAK AND LEAVE SEAT WITH PERMISSION ONLY: I will enter the room quietly
at all times and remain quiet until given permission to talk. I will leave
my seat for emergencies or with permission only.
3. OBEY TEACHER INSTRUCTIONS: I will follow my teacher’s instructions to the
best of my ability.
4. RESPECT OTHERS’ FEELINGS AND PROPERTY: I will use kind words at all times
with other students and will always keep my hands and feet to myself.
I will never use another person’s things without permission
If I use another student’s belongings, I will keep them in good condition
and return them when I am finished.
5. BE A STEWARD OF YOUR TIME AND BELONGINGS. I will work diligently on my
assignments and will always do my best without wasting time.
I will take great care not to distract classmates around me when they are
working and I am not.
I will cover my textbooks at all times and keep them in good condition.
6. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS:
I will admit when I have done wrong and have a good attitude about the
consequences for my behavior.

parent(s). Loss of free time.

I understand that if I do not get my name on the board for one entire day, I
will receive a star on the Discipline Chart. If I receive stars every day
for the week, my team will be awarded points and I will receive EAGLE BUCKS
on Friday. I understand that my behavior report for the week will be
sent home in my Wednesday folder!
