Hi! I am Candyce Lyon and I have taught for thirteen years. I have taught
first, third, and fifth grades. My passion, though is first grade. It is so
wonderful to watch my babies grow throughout the year.
I am from Lexington, SC. I attended the University of South Carolina for my
undergraduate degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.
Afterwards, I attended Walden University for my Master's in Reading and
Literacy.
My hobbies are reading, going to the beach, spending time with my two
daughters, and cheering for the Gamecocks.
I have been lucky enough to teach at Orange Grove for ten years. I
absolutely love my school and my children. I am truly blessed to have found
a career that brings me so much joy.
