About The Teacher

A native of Colorado, I enlisted in the Navy in 1981. It led me on a 15 year 
odyssey quite literally around the globe. Married to the former Laurie 
Santangelo, we, along with our daughter (Shannon) and son (Griffin) have 
resided in Summerville for 17 years. I matriculated my degree in Education 
at Charleston Southern (cum laude) and graduated in May, 2006 with a 
Masters in Biology (emphasis in genetics) from the Citadel. I've been with 
Dorchester 2 since 2000.

Mission For The Class

To gain an understanding and appreciation of the beauty and complexity of 
the biological sciences through hands-on experiences and stimulating 
discussions.
