RMSA joined other District 2
schools and professional artists
as we exhibited our figures at
the Sculpture in the South show
and sale.

Level 2 & 3 artists worked under
the guidance of sculptor Julie
McCraney Brogdon to create
figures in clay. Some of our
sculptures were displayed
at 'Sculpture in the South'

National Junior Art Honor Society
members spent the day January
23rd painting murals at the
Hallmark Rehab Center. These
muralists did a terrific job!
Our talented NJAHS artists
transformed a room into a
wonderful beach retreat!

Biggby Coffee (717 Trolley Road)
is a new Business Education
partner with RMSA, providing
exhibit space and finacial
support to our Visual Art
Department.

Sculptor Bob Doster spent 2 weeks
working with our visual art
students to design, create, and
install a stainless steel
sculpture for our school. This
opportunity was provided by our
district art coordinator, Mr.
Barnfield. Our sculpture was
installed on September 23, 2008.
Our Level 2 and 3 art students
did a fabulous job!
We are grateful for this exciting
opportunity!
