The Riverbanks Zoo website provides information and resources for students.  
(There is a web cam!  You can watch animals online. Just click 'ZOOVIEW' on  
the zoo's home page.)

The National Zoo has a web cams in the animal enclosures.  Click on 
the 'Animals' tab to find the list.  It is so cool.  Scroll down to the

Art Central Gallery is a co-operative art gallery located in on 'short' 
Central in downtown Summerville.  (It is on the section that is now closed 
to cars. They offer a selection of original paintings, photographs and 
designer jewelry.  A collection of hand-crafted pottery, woodcarving, artist 
prints and note cards is also offered.  The gallery is run by local award-
winning artists, and therefore offers the unique experience of meeting an 
artist during each visit.  These artists also accept commissions and would 
be happy to arrange a personal showing of larger pieces.  Visit Art Central 
to support our local artists!
